My wife and I chose Villa Terraza to celebrate our anniversary, and it turned out to be the perfect setting for the occasion. The restaurant has a peaceful and elegant feel without being overly formal. We arrived just before sunset and enjoyed the scenery while waiting for our meal. The food was excellent, and every dish looked as good as it tasted. What stood out most was the attention to detail from the staff. Everyone was welcoming and made the evening feel special. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy each course at a comfortable pace. It ended up being one of those dinners we'll remember for a long time.

Villa Terraza was my good friend's restaurant choice when I asked him where he wanted to celebrate his Birthday. What a delightful destination tucked away in the foothills, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The grounds and dining room play second fiddle to the menu which I would classify as leaning more Sicilian. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavorful spices. Their Happy Hour (ends @ 6 PM) had a $7, $8 & $9 Selection of appetizers, Beer & Wine. The Birthday Dinner was a wonderful success and both of us will definitely be repeat diners at the wonderful jewel in the hills.

So beautiful! They definitely deserve more business. However, it was nice that it was slow because it felt like we had a private dining experience! The food was SO good and tasted totally homemade, which is hard to find here. Could tell everything was made fresh that day, and had a charm that felt like eating Mom's food. Loved it!

The food was good and reasonably priced. Know that they don't serve bread unless asked, no sides when we ordered the pasta. There was a happy hour menu appetizers so that was nice. It is pretty but I was expecting more of a castle and it is not that. It's just a lovely restaurant.

Villa Terraza is a hidden gem in the middle of the San Fernando Valley in Shadow Hills; which is a beautiful city with ranch houses and horses. This restaurant goes back to the 1930s. The restaurant looks like a medieval European home mini castle. I recommend reservations. This is a perfect place for a nice celebratory event or a date night or an anniversary dinner. It was a great dining experience. I took my best friend for her birthday on a Thursday, and they had a happy hour menu. I ordered a glass of sauvignon Blanc from the happy hour menu it was $9.00 bucks. My friend ordered a glass of chardonnay for $5.00. Then our server read the specials, but we ended up going with the dinner menu entrees. I ordered Chicken Fortzola Italia, and my friend ordered Alfredo Fettuccine. I have to give this place an A plus because the scenery was so cute. The restrooms were very clean as well. This restaurant is a whole photo OP those of you influencers in the wild, or for anyone who visits, definitely be picture ready. The food delicious, the scenery beautiful, the service wonderful, and most importantly the prices were very reasonable. I will for sure be back.

We just discovered this hidden treasure tucked away Shadow Hills. It looked so charming online that we had to check it out. It definitely did not disappoint. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome and a smile. The service was great and the staff attentive. Extra points for the old world charm. We both ordered their delicious garlic cheese bread and spaghetti. Mine with marinara and two meatballs and my guest with meat sauce. I kid you not, this was probably the best sauce I've ever had in a restaurant. Second only to mine and my mom's. The portions were generous and we wound up taking half our orders home. Dessert ( tiramisu and spumoni) was also delicious. We were so pleased with the whole experience. This is the kind of delightful restaurant you find while driving through the countryside in Europe. We'll be visiting again next weekend!

We visited with a group of 10 people, and the service was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and patient with us. There is also a huge outdoor space for the kids to run around and play. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend!
